The Pink Door

Visiting the Famous Pink Door in Palm Springs, this MidCentury home is a must see when touring Palm Springs & it just happens to be Instagram Famous. The Pink Door is extremely tall in person, & it reminds me of a yummy Pink Chocolate bar. This area features a ton of Unique MidCentury Style homes, but this one is my favorite. The Famous Pink Door used to be a faded brown color, & the homeowners decided to change it up by adding a pop of color; who would have guessed a simple pop of color would make this house, a tourist hot spot!
Feeling like a total Betty Babe in this Priscilla Miami Midi Dress from The Pretty Dress Co. I adore this 1960s Inspired Novelty Print, the bold colors & fun shapes remind me so much of Palm Springs & what it must have looked like in that Golden Era. Palm Springs has always been known as one of thee best Summer Vacation Hot Spots in the 60s, & is still considered one of the best places to visit. This swing style is classic & the whimsical print paired up perfectly with my Vintage Baby Pink & Powder Blue Candy Dot Springolators. The Baby Pink Metallic Jayne  Sunnies from Retro Sunnies are the purrrfect Bombshell Cat Eye Frames. They are named after the Blonde Bombshell Jayne Mansfield herself.
This Whimsical Pastel Print reminded me of Betty Cooper from the Archie Series.
I added a few accessories to dress up my look a bit; a Vintage Lucite Purse, paired with a pastel salmon color cropped cardigan & some adorable Betty & Veronica Collar Pins, isn't this Telephone Collar set just adorable?! Betty and Veronica collaborated with Artist Sara Lyons to create the Perfect BFF Pins, with Classic Line work by
 Legendary Archie Artist Dan DeCarlo.
Every now & then its fun to be kitchy & cute like Betty Cooper, her character always reminded
me of a 1960s Barbie.

I found the perfect Pop of Color to match the colorful print on my Priscilla Dress, Besame Cosmetics "1931 Tango Red" Classic Color Lipstick. This Vibrant Peachy Orange shade has a stunning Pinky-Red Undertone, with a Matte Finish. Tango Red is definitely a must have color for Summer, pair it up with one of their fabulous sheer blushes & you will look like a 60s Bombshell for Summer.
I am also wearing Besame Cosmetics Cashmere Foundation Stick in shade "Bisque"
& their Delicate Rouge Blush in their 1960s shade "Sweet Pink".
